During the early weeks of the COVID pandemic, I found myself wanting to stay creative inside my limited bubble. At the same time, the pandemic-induced isolation allowed me to get reacquainted with the plants I had planted over the years around my house, natives to my area of the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, and to study their life cycle and relationship with pollinating insects.
